Sponsored Walk
On Saturday 18th May two groups of walkers set off from St Denys, one for a 6 mile walk to Houghton-on-the-Hill and back, the other trekking 16 miles to King's Norton. Thankfully, our prayers had been answered and the rain held off.
The morning was filled with conversation, good humour and laughter as can be seen from the photos.
Well done to all those who took part, especially John Riley who showed amazing commitment walking the last leg in just his socks!
Thanks to Roy Hammond for organizing the walk and to those who met us back at church with a much-needed cup of tea and piece of cake!
