At St Denys we are committed to serving our community and working together with others to see the whole of Evington thrive and flourish.
We have good relationships with local schools who make regular visits to the Church to learn about the Christian faith or for a special service at Christmas. We have a team of volunteers who help with church visits and have also been into local secondary schools as part of the 'Breathe' project.
We regularly visit residential care homes in the parish. At Arbor House we have a monthly communion service and a monthly worship service led by the St Denys Singers.
We support other community activities such as the Village Fete, the Youth Club and Evington in Bloom. We have our own page on the Evington Echo website where you can find out much more about all that Evington has to offer.
At Christmas we enjoy singing carols in the community and in local pubs and on Remembrance Day we join together with the 19th Leicester (Evington) Scouts and the 2502 (Hamilton) Squadron Air Training Corps for a service by the Village War Memorial.
