Our Worship

Whichever worship service you choose to attend, you will always find a warm welcome at St Denys and people who will be very happy to help you find your way if it's your first time.

During the year there are a number of special services and events.  Find out more here.
Sundays at 10am

The first Sunday of each month we have our 'Worship for All' service, a relaxed informal time of worship often with drama, interactive talks and contemporary music.

On other Sundays at 10am we have a more traditional communion service. Our Junior Church meets at this time, usually joining us for the last part of the service and sharing with us the work they have been doing.  There is also an opportunity to receive prayer ministry at the end of these services.

On the 4th Sunday we have an informal communion for all ages when the children can play an active part in the service.

You can listen to some past sermons online.
Sundays at 6pm

At 6pm we have a  traditional evening service (Evensong) but we are currently experimenting with more creative evening worship too.  See the calendar for details.

Sundays at 8am

On the first Sunday of each month we have a traditional Book of Common Prayer communion service at 8am with a sermon but no hymns.
Thursdays at 9.30am

There is a regular mid-week, well attended but quiet and reflective Communion Service on Thursday at 9.30am.  Prayers of healing are included on the 4th Thursday.
Daily Prayers

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9am short informal prayers are said in church.  Anyone is welcome to join us for these.

On Saturdays once a month we meet at 8am for a prayer breakfast together with friends from Goodwood Evangelical Church.  For the next date, check the calendar.
